Hey Adam, I got your message. I'll call you when I have a chance. I read the recall this past Friday. I think for a safe measure, you should put your original grip safety back on the gun even though there probably won't be an issue.

if colt has a problem i will tell them it is because of their shitty grip saftey chewing through my hand in the first place that made me swap it out =)

talk about service...sent my colt back on monday morning and here it is 4 days later returned to me with all recall work done. Colt is one of the few that is smart and tey have placed a proof mark on the trigger guard symbolizing that the recall work has been done...Awesome!
