Went to Guntech today and had the opportunity to look at a Glock Model 30, (.45 auto). The basic model and the "slim frame" model looked and felt the same. I really like the weapon and will most likely purchase it this week. The young lady gave me a price of $ 530.00, which is a hell of a lot cheaper, with the exception of one place (Lou's). But I reely do not feel like traveling down to Hialeah, so Guntech it is for me.

It was good to see that Guntech has expanded a bit, which is better than the old "phone booth" sized room that they use to operate in! They are still always busy and the gentleman was busy helping another customer and couldn't talk, but I do plan on trying to make it there later this week.

Did you pick your gun up today? I saw one on the bench with the parts ready for install which I was going to do but there was a question on the sights. I think it had a package of Zone 3 nite sites in the gun case, but there was a question whether the buyer wanted truglo's instead.

Yes, I purchased it and took it home. I was going to look at the "slim frame" but he didn't have one available. This one will do just fine.

Nicole mentioned that the blackhawk holster for the Model 21 will fit, but not correctly as far as length goes. I'll look around at some of the other holsters. I am sure that there is at least one that will be good for me.

Thanks again!

Doug

I didn't know you were putting night sights on there also Doug, I would have hooked that up for you also. Good seeing ya out there.

You should have said something about the SF model also, there were some in the boxes that just came in. I think it was civilian models only.

Rich looked for one in the boxes and he couldn't find any.
