Yeah I love it. When I first got it I just held it and stared at it. Ha.
Eh, something that I was wondering about while we're talking about my gun... after shooting it today there's now two of the indentions at the bottom of the star looking thing that the bolt fits against when a bullet is chamber that are worn down now. Is that normal or what?

I think what your asking about
is if you gun has an M4 feed ramp
All ARs have feedramps cut in the barrel extension... With an M4 feed ramp the bottom two lug cuts in the barrel extension are widened and ramped to guide the round into the chamber during loading.

Theres alot of debate on whether this is a upgrade on the design, but overall it doesnt do any harm so yes if this is what you are talking about its completely normal possibly in some opinions even an upgrade over the original design.
Thanks for the Question, hope this helped
Yeah what Chris said. Many manufacturers will cut the M4 feed ramps in the upper receiver before the upper is annodized or parkerized. When the rifle is fired, the annodizing/finish wears off and the little cuts become more noticable.

Ok, thanks that does help. I was worried, because of course when the gun was new I wasn't looking for anything really and I was new to it. Then I get it home after shooting it and I was like is that from shooting or was that already there?
Anyways, thanks!
