Yeah like the fucking war movie one. Let it die. We've already listed every movie worth listing, and we all know the modern film industry isn't going to make anything worth seeing, EVER.

Anything with an OP date greater than 6 months should be locked up to help prevent it.

But hey, some peoples first posts and reason for signing up is because of reading an old thread off of a Google hit. If they can't reply to make first contact we might not enjoy the company of that new member... just a devil's advocate thought there.

im all for reviving old threads. No sense in starting a new one when a thread already exists concerning a certain issue. Heck, what i love about this forum is that we don't tell newbies to use the search button. Apparently they do and so they end up replying to old threads!

When the subject changes or its an update it should be a new thread. A new thread would also give us more google hits for being a new subject.

I don't know Cris, the more words (posts) in a thread the more likely it is to get a Google hit. But I do agree with you when you pull off-topic posts out of an existing thread and throw them into a new one. I like keeping you on your toes. =)
