Well this is a Firearm/Defense Forum
So anyway what Kinda house guns we have out there.
I personally prefer the good ole 357 revolver
with a Crimson Trace
with 95 grain solid copper hollow points from Magtech.
and a 120 lumen LED flashlight.
Simple but very effective and useable by everyone in the house

my nightstand gun is also my CC gun.. I keep a colt new agent .45 with 2 mags on the nightstand everynight

I call it a shorty. It's a sub compact. I had a S&W Shorty is the past as well.

I like it. I just realized though that I really am not a fan of sub compacts. They fit my hand different that what I feel comfortable with. I thought it was the weapon so I sold it to my sister and I bought the Taurus. Nope....it's me. As for the operation of the weapon, it was great. Light, accurate, and it was well balanced. My sister uses it as her carry, and loves it.

:D I love that gun!!!! I forget whats on my side of the bed though.. *hides* Its either a 10mm glock or one of the 1911's... the two of us, our two dogs, and our two guns will surely show someone they chose the wrong house to screw with.. :D

My EDC XD45c in the nightstand. AR-15 in the closet (16" SPR I've been building for the woman - she likes sniping, not CQB). Baton in her purse, and one between us in bed. Just need to get a couple more pistols and some knives. =)

i usually have my 228 bedside as well...but my safe is 2 feet from my bed
Oh yeah, I have a Baton on my night stand and a Surefire 6P. My wife has her .38 on her night stand. I have 2 auto knives on my dresser with my Crossman pellet gun loaded with laser sight. The pellet gun is in the even of a rouge squirrel attack or in the event that I blow through the 25rds in the .45, the 6rds in the .38, and the 80rds in the AK....I suppose I could take an eye out with it if I had to?

Most often My SP101 ( .357 mag, 2 1/4" bbl. & "crimson trace") This gun is the one I pack around the house & CC often
Some times the gun I carried (CC) during the day. (S&W 4" .357 mag., "66" or my "custom Springfield 1911)
Oh yeh, there is another "toy" hanging on the side of my bed. :laugh:
