View Full Version : Crossbreed Holsters
Heard about these holsters from a few people. Seeing one in action the other week at guntech, and then another person with one this week. We talked Rich at Guntech to start stocking them. I personally have 3 sold for him already. They should be in the shop in a couple of weeks if they stand by their listed lead time. There are many options for these holsters to any gun you need, from small compact's to full size 1911's. They may seem a little pricey compared to various names like Galco, Desantis and Uncle Mike's but these were designed for people who may conceal carry all day long. They have a nice little video on the site also showing the holster in use. Check out their website at www.crossbreedholsters.com (http://www.crossbreedholsters.com/).
Hold one for me. Gonna have to bring the Ultra Covert by and see how it feels. When are you gonna be there?
If you want one, we need to let Rich know right away. He ordered these for Glocks, XD's and one 1911. I am pretty sure he will be ordering these tomorrow. We went with whats more common.
Yeah...I want it for the Kimber Ultra Covert...let him know please.
I will call him early tomorrow to confirm it for you. Just so you know that's why I tried to call you earlier.
Didn't even see your call...you tried my cell?
That's the only number I have. Same one you tried to call me from on Saturday.

I want one, but I'll wait till it gets closer to April and I've decided on a .40 sub-compact XD or a .45 Compact XD
Ok...no fucking bullshit here...I could not be happier with this holster! Ok...it would be nice if the leather wasn't so stiff. It's unbelievably comfortable! What's even crazier is that I can conceal a full size 1911 just as easily as my Ultra Covert...I really can't believe it! I used to have a hard time concealing the Ultra Covert, so I'm very surprised that this works so well with the full sized (used my Kimber TLE II). This holster is the SHIT! :D

these holsters are awesome! I've had mine for a few weeks now and love it. I carry my Glock 27 with it and it's the best holster I've used so far. the only time I don't use the crossbreed is when I have a shirt that's too short or if I'm working and reaching around and might show the gun, then I'll use an uncle mike's ankle holster.
I have one buddy who uses a crossbreed to carry an FN Five-Seven! that's a pretty big gun to conceal and he'll carry that all day, can't even tell he's got it on him!

I have had this holster for my Glock for about 7 months now and I also have the Tuckable Mag Carrier. I love both! I love this holster so much I bought one for my new gun I am buying...I don't think I will ever buy another holster.

Thanks but no rush. My class was cancelled due to a lack of sufficient signups.

Well, I just purchased a Crossbreed holster for my Glock 30. After all of the doubting, I must say that this holster is great! Comfortable and practical as well. And it fits well, without having to buy pants that are a size larger.
I am sold on this holster!!!!!!!!!

I told ya. Make sure you condition the leather Doug to help it soften and form to your body.

Crossbreed sucks!:raspberry::bolt:
Let me stop, they seem awesome, but my gear budget is not as stacked as usual, so until such time they suck.

Don't hate cause you have a non-adjustable holster that you can't tuck your shirt in with.

Thanks for the tip.
What did you use to condition the leather??
Whatever leather conditioner. I think I used the meguiars that I use on the motorcycle seat.
Yeah, I used Lexol which you can find at an automotive parts store. I had gone to Griff's thinking that I'd use saddle soap or some other quality leather conditioner and they recommended Lexol.
You can't find Lexol as easy anymore. I have looked several places for it, knowing that its one the best products out there.
