The girls at at girl scouts tonight wrapping gifts for some old folks home people they help during X-Mas..it just the boys at home, so I am showing my son how to field strip the xd and convert it to 9mm when I get a knock at the door...

I get on the intercom and ask who it is... its the local LEO.. my alarm went off when I got home 20 mins earlier.. my alarm company NEVER called me.. they went straight to the police... They are going to get a call from me :nunu:

The officers were good guys.. whe cracked some jokes..

then they asked me if I was carrying.. I said yes..I was breaking in the new quick clip.. they were looking at 4:00 and I was printing a bit with the 1911.. but they were cool..

I asked what happens if someone uninvited gets shot in my house.. they said as lond as you tell the truth, and they were a threat.. you will go downtown.. they will take the weapon involved.. you will get questioned, and if all checks out, released..

all in all I learned, that I need a new alarm co.. and even though they are not great.. at least the police were called. also that the local police are on our side of the home defense argument.. and that I need to tuck the 1911 more or move it from 4:00 to conceal this big bitch better...

time for a black label.. :carbomb:

exactly...and another thought about the alarm. Just more evidence that u need to be armed. Freakin 20 minute response time. Criminals can do a lot in that time

Ummm what do you mean tomorrow? That's a firetruck in that picture. I would expect a helicopter or plane crashing into a house on your street within the next week. Your streets are too narrow to easily navigate a tank down.

20 min? holy sweet shit stains, thats a long time, a theif could go through your whole house in less than that, ever seen the show 'it takes a theif'? that show puts shit into perspective....

that was a good show, but the best part of it was John trashing the house, and watching the homeowners faces

Sure was! They'd be pissed! Funny even with shows like that you'd be amazed how many people don't safe guard there shit.
