Why is when it comes to the First Amendment right, people will go to all lengths to protect it? And when it comes to the Second, they all flee or feel threatened by it?
Personally I am so sick of hearing all the propaganda anti-gun bullshit and all the idiots who are actually brainwashed by this shit. People are no longer able to think for themselves because of all the brainwashing they are fed since birth.
What the fuck is it going to take for people to wake up and smell the coffee? Personally I was all for protecting myself long before I started to exercise carrying a concealed weapon. With recent of my father being murdered within his own household have only pushed me more to help people learn that they have the right to defend themselves.
I guess I could go on and on about this, sometimes it just senseless trying to get through these thick headed fucks.

Some people will never want to take charge of their own survival. They will be the deer in headlights when the time comes. Sometimes I doubt a gun in their hands will do any good anyway.

people have become sheep, hoping that the dogs will protect them from the wolves, they havent figured out that they need to protect themselves and that the dogs are only there to heard them not protect them. people have become much too pussafied.

i think this is the main issue. people spend their lives working for peace and "a better society", what ever that means to them.
people who fight to keep guns and to make it easier for people to obtain and/or carry, just threatens all of that.
i'm with you cris. we need to protect ourselves, period.
better to have, than have not.

It's the exact reason why after something happens to these anti-gun people, much like Cris's other post, they realize that this shit can happen to them, whether by gun or by knife or other weapon, and they come to the realization that it's not the gun but the person behind it and that they need to protect themselves. Police can not be everywhere at once and their main job is to catch criminals and to deter crime, not necessarily to stop crime in progress. They are too few and far behind and responsible people cannot depend on a small police force to protect them. Even with that said, it is MY life and I should take the responsibility to protect it and not depend on someone else.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure that realization is ever really made.

People will always be blind. Blind to life and to the BS of our gov everything. Life is to short not to take your safety and your families life into your own hands.
I'm all for Peace and all that nice shit they praise, but as it goes "Ci Vis Pacem Para Bellum". You want peace you need to be prepared for war. I'd much rather have a gun and not need it than be in a situation where the shit hits the fan and be without it.
Sadly we cannot stress this enough to the sheep of the world. The day they open there eyes it may be to late for them or a loved one.
