A few months ago I was in the market to find a firearm for the woman at home. After her completing her Firearms safety course we started looking into options. After several visits to Gun Tech, finally she picked a gun and automatically said that was the one. When someone picks up a gun and it feels right like that should be at the top of your list to consider.

This is a slim single stack 9mm (also available in .40 cal), with changeable backstraps. The backstraps was another plus for when I decide to blow off a few rounds in it. Compared to the XD I carry it is much easier to carry and considerably lighter.

Walther PPS - More Conceal, Less Carry

The Walther Police Pistol Slim (PPS) model narrows the margin between concealment and confidence by packing Walther innovation into an unbelievable 1.04 inch profile. It's amazing how much professional-grade design actually fits into this lightweight sub-compact. Available in either 9mm or .40S&W, the PPS packs in more power. All in all, the PPS embodies both the legendary quality and tradition of innovation that make it not just a great pistol — but a great Walther pistol.

PPS Power - Small Frame, Large Caliber

In 9mm or .40S&W, the PPS has several notable features aimed at better fit and safe performance in its narrow dimensions. From your choice of perfect-fitting backstrap (small or large) to our patented QuickSafe™ innovation, no one packs in the power and features like Walther:

I like these Walthers. My P22 was fun to shoot, but it just wasn't what I wanted. The 9's look much nicer. How is cleaning it? The P22 was a bitch!

This is not bad at all, breaks down similar to the glock. I would imagine the .22 was harder to cleaner because of the smaller chamber. I told you I want a P22 or something similar to get the little one shooting also.

my wife loves her P22.. and you can shoot for HOURS for merely pennies. It's the 5.5" barrell.. P.I.T.A. to clean, yes.. but still a fantastic gun.

I would love to have either the 9 or the 40 cal Walther. maybe next month :D
