One thing people tend to forget for home defense is a decent flashlight. If you are not familiar with Surefire they are one of the top manufacturers of flashlights for outdoors, self-defense, military, law enforcement and general use. They make all sizes and shapes depending on your needs or wants. Take a look at their site you may surprised what you find.

I have one and I purchased 2 LED conversions heads for my normal G2 plus my M951X rifle mount light.

I carry the 6P LED on my belt, on duty. But for the "big one", I have a 4 cell Mag Lite. It doubles as a weapon.

Get your surefire condoms today! If she's not happy with them, try our surefire vibrator, with a real surefire laser aiming system for those times when the hole just seems like an impossible 1000 yard sniper shot in bad weather conditions!
The surefire pen is for the rambo type wanna be's. Yeah, that goes a little far, but in some cases they actually would be handy if you are in the mechanical field.

Yeah...I've got a few of the big Mags, few smaller ones too. Can't recall if they're three or four cells though. Regardless, you can definitely do some damage with them, and they're pretty good flashlights too! :D

my uncle broke his partners hand with a mag lite.
his partner reached for a guy, who ran on them, as the guy was climbing a fence.
my uncle swung at his legs with his mag lite, at the same time his rookie partner was reaching up for the guys legs.
can you say ouch? I have a 4-cell mag also that I keep floating around. Must have had that thing for about 15 years now.
