CCing in a KILT

In another thread, one of the members "was impressed" that I CC'd while wearing a KILT. Actually, it is not a "problem" ( it just takes a "a little thought"

Here is a pic of me doing a "training" class on CC. for my local PD. Here I am CCing 5 guns ( 2 SP101s,a $' S&W 4" "66", a 1911 & a "BUG"

OK where ??

The SP101 is in a "custom Jackass" ( left side)
The S&W is in a custom IWB on my right side.
The 1911 is in a " " on my back
The BUG is in a "thigh holster"
The other SP101 is in my "sporran" ( NOTE - I seldom carry this way)

BTW, not shown is a SP101 in a "Wilderness Safe Packer" ( I often carry my S&W & 1911 in one of these.)

LOL We do a CC course for LEs once in a while. One of the fun things is that my team, esp. me "load out" We do a "get to know each other & some basics ( about 1 hr) We then hand them a Questionnaire,
1. Are we CCing ??
2. If so Where ??

In my case, usually they spot the "jackass, & quess the sporran. Some get the back holster, A very few get the IWB ( I am slender & it CCs well. But NONE get the thigh. It is fun

Actually I carry a "blade" in my sock. Standard attire when Kilted. LOL In "formal Dress" some times also a DIRK also.

BTW, I not only wear one most of the time but I am an "Adviser" on a "Major" Kilt site" A GOOD share of the members not only Wear a Kilt but CC reg. We have Quite a few ex & current LEs ( Local to Fed ( incl. a couple of SWAT & HRT) Also a couple of the Kilt makers, make Kilts that are designed for CC & several "sporran" makers make CC sporrans) One of our moderators ( a female) is a SIG owner & CCs) We also have a couple of top grade PP Inst.s on board. As far as I know we are the ONLY forum that openly Discusses PP & Guns.

In the Regiments & in one "academy" there are a lot of Men & women of "Afro" decent"

In the USA, not a lot, but some, then again :fu: As to "Black Irish" quite a few.

For what is worth, I & my "Mates" would be PROUD to have you as a KILTED BRO & feel honored to walk the streets along side You.& host a "few" :cheers:

I'm surely thinking about doing it. I think the comfort factor is there and it's different to say the least. I always thought the scots were cool and started looking up there heritage and such.
