CrossBreed Holsters is pleased to introduce our newest product, the BedSide Backup. Our unique design offers a modular and secure method for keeping a firearm within easy reach at your bedside. The BedSide Backup also folds flat for easy packing and traveling for nights in those motels that aren't quite in the part of town we thought they were. It's main support simply slips between the mattress and box springs, and the OHAI holster attaches via velcro.
The Bedside Backup is Patent Pending and has been created and developed by Matthew Craighead, brother of CrossBreed's founder Mark Craighead . Another fine firearms product from Crossbreed Holsters, get your Bedside Backup today and keep your sidearm securely stowed at your bedside while you rest.
The BedSide Backup comes complete with one Ohai modular holster for the firearm of your choice. Additional Ohai's available at an extra cost. More components coming soon such as a flashlight holder.
The BedSide backup is NOT a child safety device! (Pat Pend)

I've been thinking of a rig like this, but I agree with Anthony... That could be made fairly easily. For the convenience though, it's cool it's now being manufactured.

Considering how many similar designs are already patented for bed mounted weapons, CrossBreed is going to get themselves sued. Haven't they noticed that firearms and accessories is the hottest industry for lawsuits now? They exceed the lawsuit/company % of the tech industry now.

I agree with Bicho.
I rather slip it in naked, between the mattress and box spring and another plus is that it is out of sight. Having kids though, forces me to use a Gun Vault.

Yeah, if I have kids, I will have one of those finger print or code activated boxes that drops open ready to go. Probably bolt it to the night stand.

That's what I have and keep both my home defense pistol and where I throw my cc in each night which gives me daily practice getting into it.

Good idea on the daily practice.
