Plus shipping. But at 0.24$/round you can't beat it, even if it is poly-steel. Wish I had a .308 that needed some food.

Any feed back on this ammo? That's cheap as hell even with me a S&B whore.

Tula is the manufacturer of Wolf ammo. It shoots just fine. Wolf is a US company that orders tons of Russian made poly-steel and just slaps their name on the box. Tula & Wolf Black Box are identical. Wolf Military Classic is made by another Russian company that uses different primers. That's the only different between the two types of Wolf ammo.

This stuff will go bang every time all day long just like all Wolf does.

Damn, think I just talked myself into buying ammo I don't even have a gun for. And we all know what that means... I then have to buy another gun just to shoot the shit.

I will have to check to see how rough this stuff would be on the extractor. I have a few hundred rounds of .308 S&B now. Would be nice to add some more.

This is great for plinkin...

I would not run it on my bolt action though..

Why not? Are Rem700 extractors not made of tool steel like they are in other weapons?

It is not because of the limitations of the weapon. I'm sure it would cycle it just fine.

I just have this illness which prevents me from shooting cheap ammo thru her. :barf:

Actually I use my Remi 700 for precision shooting and even though shooting paper might be considered "plinkin" by some, precision is substained by the consistency of quality ammunition.
Don't get me wrong though. I do shoot inexpensive surplus ammo all the time. As a matter of fact that is all my AK have cycled and I've shot some really old corrosive nasty stuff thru my Sprigfield SAR-8 without a hiccup but when I shoot these rifles they don't require much precision since my target layouts are within 80yds.

FYI: There are some semi-auto weapons that might not like the lacquered coated steel casings and some of these ammunitions are underpowered enough to cause cycling issues.

Tula & Wolf don't lacquer coat anymore, it is polymer coated to prevent gunk up which happened with lacquer in a hot chamber. The only lacquer coated ammo left on the market that I see anymore is the TAP Training rounds (which are old-style Wolf cases with Hornady bullets, if I remember).

That's great to know. Its about time they got rid of the lacquered jobs even though it did extend the shelf life dramatically.

Hmm. I wonder how it would perform with the HK style fluted chamber... My V51 SBR eats up ammo so cheap is good.

Better hurry before it's all gone.
