The Blackberrys don't sync with exchange easily, and without additional expense. I've gotta stick to windows mobile devices.

The phone looks stellar, but I hate how Verizon requires you to sign up for one of RIM's data plans. :/

Yes. You have to sign up for one of the voice plans and one of the Blackberry data/email plans. They did, however, lower the individual data plans to $22.99/mo. which isn't bad.

Gotcha...I just switched to verizon. When I was first looking at them a few yrs ago, the data plan was stupid expensive.

I believe with the new line of Blackberry's coming out Dave they have fixed the exchange problems.

i used the BB with sprint service for years, this is my work phone. never had any issues with it.

i now have the windows phone from microsoft and i beleive it's a bit slower.

and the BB was just so much easier to use and navigate through. it really is simple.

Plus its more reliable. Windows mobile, you are always restarting the phone because it froze on something.

also, the old school BB was a real brick! some loved it, some hated it.

but they are indestructible. i would let my 1 yr old son play with it (only way he would shut up sometimes) and he would drop it a million times without breaking it!

That should be around Nov. 2-15 :) (I know thats a big gap but it will definately be out sometime around there)
Price should be somewhere around $199.99-299.99 and full retail is around $519.99.

no not really, I get my phones and plan on a B2B account anyway hopefully they stick to the pre-order stuff they sent out a few weeks ago

Unlocked one of these babies will be hard to come by during first few weeks but let be out like a month and you should be able to fine them on Ebay.



And if your going to pre-order I think it starts in about a week maybe too (dont have a calendar right now)

I have to find one possibly from Canada, so it has a SIM slot. Otherwise I will be getting the Bold.
