I just signed up for 14 hours of OT, have insurance money coming for the guy that hit my car, and just received money today from items I sold... but I'm not in South Florida. =(
(It's ok though, I'm not that much of a wheelie guy)

I had an offer on another site, but the shipping seems to be an issue, have never shipped a firearm. I heard you can through UPS, but called and they said no. But then again I was only speaking to some dude in the phillipines. they would not give me a number to my local customer service center.

You can ship a firearm with UPS or Fedex, BUT you must go to the nearest depot/hub to ship it. You can not hand a firearm to The UPS Store, a UPS driver, or a UPS drop-box. And if they ask if you will ship to them directly, you technically are allowed. Florida private sale rules allow for the shipment direct to the buyer for a private transaction. The problem with this law, and why I wouldn't ship to the random Joe Blow, is that you have no way of knowing the person you are shipping to isn't a criminal, minor, or other person not allowed to legally own firearms. The Fed can't do anything to you because it's intrastate commerce and not interstate commerce (the one power they pervert to their desire), but you still have a moral right to make some kind of check.

Yeah no way I would ship with out a check. would prefer CW, but FL DL would be ok, faxed, bill of sale faxed etc...... I have declined sale to one person who only had like 1 post. I rather sell to forum members I see active on a site etc..... and have a good history with other transactions or have sold stuff themselves.
