I saw on my way out the door apparently on Channel 7 that they were going to do a segment on Help me Howard in which a CCW holder was pulled over and his gun was taken from him by the officer doing the stop and did not give it to him back. Wondering if anyone caught it? Don't know the facts of what happened yet but trying to search for it.

Yeah, saw the lead in this morning saying to tune in at 10:00 for the story. There's a bunch of examples of how it would cost more money to get back your own property than the property is worth.

Crooked South Florida cops strike again (sorry Bacon & Doug, we know this wouldn't possibly be one of you guys). Deputy probably kept it for personal use and the department never returned it because they were never turned in with the incident report paperwork. Now the department is telling the cop to turn them in to give back or be fired (case is now higher profile with the news getting wind of it).

I'm telling you guys... move out of South Cesspool, err Florida. Hell I'm even hating Tampa Bay more and more. Jacksonville is still cool because the only problem there is the Russians, but they just mob up to run businesses and don't take things into the streets. You don't hear about gang problems in Jacksonville, usually just the lone idiot that ends up dead at the seen or shot by the cops later.

I miss Jacksonville. =(

If I could I would love to buy a bunch of acres in Vermont and move back :) I miss Vermont lol and Cris there are hippies but there is also a big pro gun environment and the hippies stay to themselves lol. That is one thing I alwaus found cool about Vermont, there are a lot of different view points ie hippy/liberal, conservative and pro gun etc but they get along so well. They have this view that just becuase I have this view and opinion doesn't mean everyone should be forced to follow it. As long as you don't infringe upon me I won't infringe upon you. At least that was how it was up there when I lived there :)

That's what happened to me with PBSO! I had to hit them with a court ordered and the whole 9 yards before they agreed to give it back. It cost me anywhere from $200-500 to get it all squared away. Not to mention the time between work etc.
It's a way for the county/city to make money off of you basically. You have to pay for all the BS and all those greenbacks go to the municipality... Gotta love the system. This is why I strived to be the grey man.

If they illegally seized my weapon and refused to give it back unless I spent 100s in fees, court orders and lawyers I would call every single news agency in the country, the attorney general, the NRA, the BATF, the Governor, the police chief and anyone else I could tihnk of. I would then proceed to find one of those attornys that will sue for you and take a percentage of what you get from it. May not come to something but I would try to blow it up and make them accountable and force them to follow the laws. LOL

makes me wonder if he would have gone through all this shit if he was a white guy. i'm sorry if they actually saw him waving a gun near a crowded reataurant, they wou;d have surrounded his ass, and pulled him out of that car by his toe nails!
