Ah! I know what you're planning. You're going to paint it to look like the Megatron gun or something.
You know exactly what I am going to do with it. The gun is being shipped within the next 24-48 hours. So I should see it sometime next week. I stopped by the shop today to get a copy of Guntech's FFL to get it shipped there. I talked to the plater they deal with, its either going to be nickeled or hard chromed along with ceramic coat to give me the wanted finish I am looking for. From what his website looks like and from he says he may also be able to put in the decepticon symbols in the wanted color onto the slide for me.

Wow, they are incredibly expensive. I found a real scope for less than half of they want for a fake one. The real scope is also local. Looking into the other stuff, I am sure no matter what all of this will take some research to find what may work or can be modified to work.
