i reload every time i go shooting. i only have a revolver, so reloading is pretty simple and i only do it after i've fired my 7 shots.

Slo, my mom's ex-husband used to. Once you got the hang of it it was pretty simple. It is something I would definitely like to do. Ammo is getting 'spensive!

Anyone look into it further? The tools and parts and so on? any links? I'm curious to look into it, but need some advice to start out.

If Chris gets back on here I believe he and his father did it.

Found a site that gives an online course and when done you'll be a certified reloader.

www.certifiedreloader.com

Then of course there is the mighty Youtube... Type up dillon reloading or just reloading in general..

Just googled reloading forums...will report back!

dillon

they have a very informative catalogue and mag they publish once a month or so called the blue press

its not difficult just very time consuming, this is a hobby you must do correctly. Not a rush job kinda thing.

There are tons of resources out there.
If you are deciding to get you feet wet spend a little money and buy a single stage to get into the hobby. make a few thousand without blowing up and then maybe move to a progressive.

In all actuality the way things have gone the last few years on raw materials there isnt a huge payback on reloading. it will take time to recoup the costs of initial investment but if you get good at it the payoff is immense. My father has made and continues to make some of most safe reliable and accurate ammo I have ever shot and if the SHTF you have a skill that is most desirable.

I was watching the Almighty Youtube with the Dillon Presses. That 1050 is veeeery nice. If I did this, I'd probably go with the less expensive presses.

Ordered some books from Hornady and the Lyman 49th edition.

Just one more hobby that allows me a little peace and quite! If I can make a little $$$ with it, all the better!

My dad use to reload when I was a kid. He has been really on me about reloading. He swears that when you take the time to reload and you do it right, you end up with cheaper ammo then the manufacturer that is much better in quality. I dont know, I a get nervous with the thought of messing something up and having an explosion resulting in either a broken firearm or a broken me.
